EMPIRE STATE SHUTS GLENS FALLS CENTER.(Local)

Empire State College, a part of the State University system, closed its Glens Falls center this week because of state budget cuts.

The center serves 50 students, who will be asked to transfer to the college's Saratoga Springs campus. Walt Ulbricht, a college spokesman, said two faculty members, one full- time and one half-time, will be asked to transfer to Saratoga Springs.
