Bury St Edmunds CC Premier XI returned to winning ways following a five-wicket home victory over Horsford.
On a day when many teams would have opted to bat first, Bury captain Kevin Brooks put his faith in his pace attack and, on winning the toss, elected to bowl.
Brooks was duly rewarded by a ruthless display of fast swing bowling by player-coach Andrew Tweedie (6-32).
After an hour of action, Horsford were reduced to 39 runs for five wickets, Tweedie having taken all five wickets and broken a stump in the process.
Further wickets followed with one each for Andrew McGarry, Justin Bishop, Mark Geeves and Brooks.
